पुष्कर सिंह धामी उत्तराखंड के अगले मुख्यमंत्री होंगे। सोमवार को देहरादून में भाजपा विधायक दल की बैठक में धामी के नाम पर मुहर लग गई। इसके साथ ही उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री को लेकर पिछले 10 दिनों से चला आ रहा सस्पेंस खत्म हो गया है।
लेकिन बड़ा सवाल यह है कि खटीमा से विधानसभा चुनाव हारने के बावजूद भाजपा ने पुष्कर सिंह धामी पर ही भरोसा क्यों जताया। जबकि पार्टी को 47 विधायकों का प्रचंड बहुमत प्राप्त हुआ है जिनमें कई अनुभवी विधायक शामिल हैं। फिर भी धामी को चुनकर भाजपा ने राज्य पर उपचुनाव का बोझ डाल दिया है।
छह महीने में छोड़ी छाप
पुष्कर सिंह धामी को दोबारा मुख्यमंत्री बनाए जाने के पीछे उनके छह महीने के कार्यकाल का बड़ा योगदान है। पिछले साल जब तीरथ सिंह रावत को हटाकर पुष्कर सिंह धामी को सीएम बनाया गया था तो मुख्यमंत्री बदलने को लेकर भाजपा की काफी किरकिरी हुई थी। लेकिन अपने छह महीने के कार्यकाल में पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भाजपा को इन आलोचनाओं से उबरने में मदद की। वे पार्टी को साथ लेकर चले और सरकारी योजनाओं का बखूबी प्रचार किया। यही वजह है कि भाजपा ने धामी के युवा चेहरे को आगे रखकर विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ा था।
युवा नेतृत्व पर भरोसा
भले ही धामी खटीमा से अपना चुनाव हार गये, लेकिन उन्होंने प्रदेश में भाजपा को भारी बहुमत दिलाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई। इसका पुरस्कार उन्हें दोबारा मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी के तौर पर मिला है। भाजपा 2024 को ध्यान में रखते हुए युवा नेतृत्व पर भरोसा जता रही है। धामी को सीएम बनाकर भाजपा संदेश देने की कोशिश कर रही है कि वह विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी अपने नेता के साथ खड़ी है।
गुटबाजी से दूर
धामी को भाजपा की अंदरूनी गुटबाजी से दूर रहने का फायदा भी मिला है। चुनाव के बाद जहां प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मदन कौशिक पर भीतरघात के आरोप लगे, वहीं धामी की छवि गुटबाजी से दूर रहने वाले नेता की बनी। त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत को मुख्यमंत्री के पद से हटाए जाने के बाद भाजपा दो खेमों में बंटी नजर आ रही थी। लेकिन धामी सरकार और संगठन के बीच संतुलन साधने में कामयाब रहे। इसका फायदा भाजपा को चुनाव में मिला।
सरल स्वभाव और कार्यकर्ताओं का दबाव
सरल स्वभाव और आसानी से पहुंच के कारण भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं में धामी लोकप्रिय हैं। इसलिए चुनाव हारने के बावजूद उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री बनाए जाने की मांग उठ रही थी। सोशल मीडिया पर भी धामी के पक्ष में माहौल बनाया जा रहा था। अपने स्वभाव के कारण ही धामी पार्टी आलाकमान के साथ-साथ प्रदेश संगठन के नेताओं व कार्यकर्ताओं का भरोसा जीतने में कामयाब रहे।
टिकाऊ डबल इंजन का मैसेज
भाजपा ने उत्तराखंड चुनाव केंद्र में मोदी और राज्य में धामी के डबल इंजन के नारे के साथ लड़ा था। एक साल में तीन मुख्यमंत्री बदलने को लेकर पार्टी की काफी आलोचना हुई। अब धामी को मुख्यमंत्री बनाकर भाजपा ने टिकाऊ डबल इंजन का संदेश दिया है।
