उत्तराखंड में चुनाव परिणाम आए अब एक महीने का समय बीत रहा है। इस बीच पुष्कर सिंह धामी की दुबारा ताजपोशी को भी तीन सप्ताह का समय पूरा होने को है। लेकिन सरकार का डबल इंजन तब से स्टार्ट ही नहीं हो पा रहा है। यह तब है जबकि पुष्कर सिंह धामी को सरकार निरंतता में मिली है, धामी और उनकी कैबिनेट के ज्यादातर सहयोगी अपने पुराने विभागों के साथ उसी जगह मौजूद हैं। नौकरशाही में भी उपर से नीचे तक धामी की ही पसंद और सुविधा के लोग हैं और तमाम किंतु परंतु के बावजूद भाजपा फिर शानदार बहुमत से सरकार बना चुकी है। बावजूद इसके सरकार का सन्नाटा दिन ब दिन गहराता जा रहा है। इस बीच सरकार की सिर्फ एक बार कैबिनेट बैठक हुई, उसमें भी समान नागरिक संहिता के लिए कमेटी गठित करने का ऐलान भर हुआ। इस बीच कोविड के दौरान अस्पतालों में रखे गए संविदा कर्मियों की नौकरी चली गई, महंगाई आसमान में पहुंच गई लेकिन सरकार को जैसे किसी से कोई मतलब नहीं, यह एक तरह से पॉलिसी पैरालाइसिस का मामला नजर आता है। जबकि शुरुआती कुछ दिन ही सरकार के कुछ कर दिखाने के होते हैं।
अलबत्ता सरकार ने इस बीच कोई यादगार काम किया है तो उसमें देहरादून में हिमाचल से होकर आने वाली खनन सामग्री के कारोबार पर रोक लगाना भर शामिल है। इससे खनन सामग्री कई गुना बढ़ चुकी है, इसका लाभ किसे मिला यह मुख्यमंत्री ही बेहतर बता सकते हैं? इसके अलावा युवा और धाकड़ धामी की सक्रियता बीच- बीच में सीएम आवास में बच्चों के साथ साइकिल चलाने, परिजनों के साथ पारिवारिक समारोह में सहजता से झूमने वाले या किसी बाबा के सामने आदरपूर्वक नतमस्तक होने वाले वीडियो/ फोटो में ही नजर आ पाई है। जाहिर है प्रदेश की जनता ने भाजपा को यह प्रचंड बहुमत इन लल्लो- चप्पो बातों के लिए नहीं दिया है। अपने पिछले कार्यकाल में धामी की छवि हर विषय पर एक कमेटी बनाकर पल्ला छाड़ने वाले व्यक्ति की बन चुकी है, उन्हें किस्मत से अपने पिछले अल्पकार्यकाल की खराब छवियों से उबरने का मौका मिला है, लाख टके का सवाल है कि वो इस मौके को कैसे इस्तेमाल करते हैं।
